IBS of Provence is an International School located in the south of France for over 30 years, educating more than 1000 students from over 70 different nationalities. We offer the IB Diploma Programme and the French Baccalaureate, as well as Cambridge’s IGCSEs.

At IBS of Provence, 100 students aged 10 to 17 live in our five charming boarding houses, each a typical Provençal villa. Students from around the world experience a truly stimulating environment of linguistic and cultural exchange. The boarding section extends the school day, offering a convivial atmosphere that seamlessly blends study periods, meals, and leisure time.

Boarding students benefit from a specialized program with scheduled study periods both at school and their boarding homes, along with a vibrant array of extracurricular activities including sports, arts, and clubs. This fosters self-motivated, independent learning – a crucial skill for university success.

Boarding Houses: Our boarding houses, organized by gender and age, accommodate students in comfortable rooms of two to three. Some villas boast impressive amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, and even a tennis court. There, students are encouraged to respect the basic rules of communal life: consideration for others, punctuality, personal hygiene, and tidiness. Our boarding houses provide a friendly, family-style atmosphere, creating a true sense of “life together.”

Weekend Boarding: According to demand and with the exception of school holidays, the boarding section is always open. Periods for study, sports, games, cinema visits and various outings in the region are planned in consultation with the boarders.
