WHO ARE WE?
St Benedict’s is a Catholic School for Boys in Johannesburg, South Africa with a proud history and tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the sports field. Bishop Grandin House – our boarding house facility – was built to house the Oblate priests and brothers who ran the school in its early years. In 2005 the house was converted into boarding facilities and in 2006 history was made with the admission of our first 20 boarders.

At Bishop Grandin House, we aim to provide every boy with an opportunity to mature emotionally, socially, physically, spiritually and develop their self esteem and core values.

We are founded on CHRIST and as is the mission of St Benedict’s we strive to empower boys to achieve academic and personal excellence within our nurturing Catholic community. We instil unwavering values and equip boys to be active, influential citizens, fostering positive change in loval and global communities.
